About Me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families across a variety of settings. I began my career working with foster children in an emergency shelter and have since dedicated my career to helping families navigate a wide range of challenges, including trauma, toxic stress, medical issues, abuse, and grief.

For the past ten years, I’ve served as an Early Intervention Specialist and Service Coordinator with Babies Can’t Wait, collaborating closely with families to support their children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

I primarily work with young children (ages 8 and under) and their caregivers. I believe that mental health in early childhood must be understood within the context of developmental capacity and the caregiving relationship. With support and connection, early experiences can shape a child’s ability to regulate emotions and form secure, lasting relationships.

Play is a child’s natural language and through it, children can express their needs, fears, and hopes. Thank you for trusting me with your child – together we can create a safe, nurturing space where healing and growth can take place.

I also work with mothers experiencing mental health challenges – this requires the kind of compassionate, intimate, nonjudgmental relationships that I’m comfortable building. Acknowledging the more complex parts of motherhood empowers women and improves outcomes for both her and her children – a joyful, healthy mother is the best gift we can give our kids.
